She graduated from the University of California Riverside with a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. She then went on to Pepperdine University to receive a master's degree in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy with Latinx communities.
Ailyn's career as a therapist began with her significant work in community mental health, where she provided therapy to individuals, families, children, and the elderly. Her goal has always been supporting individuals with their mental health and overcoming the social and cultural stigma associated with it.
Therapy is a collaborative approach that is particular to each individual. Her objective is to compassionately support each of her clients and sometimes this entails imparting knowledge of methods and tools. To address her clients' needs, Ailyn incorporates methods from Liberation Psychotherapy, Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.
Furthermore, Ailyn is fluent in Spanish which allows her to provide therapeutic services to the Spanish speaking population. Her commitment to establishing a supportive environment, combined with her diverse skill set and enthusiasm, make her a great asset to the therapeutic process.

Previously, Megan worked in San Diego with a nonprofit organization focused on supporting youth ages 6-18. Throughout her career, Pegah has worked in a range of mental health settings which includes crisis centers, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies. In addition to her clinical experience, Pegah has obtained a certification in Correctional Science. Pegah is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). She encourages self-advocacy in her clients and provides coping strategies, psychoeducation, and therapeutic interventions to support both children and adults through individual and family therapy.
