Our Approaches

Together, we'll create a personalized treatment plan to support your journey toward healing and self-discovery.

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

A specialized form of cognitive-behavioral therapy designed to help you overcome the emotional and psychological effects of trauma. It involves identifying and challenging negative thought patterns, learning coping strategies to deal with distressing emotions, and gradually facing and processing traumatic memories in a safe and supportive environment.

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy

A goal-oriented therapy that emphasizes finding solutions to problems rather than focusing on the problems themselves. It is based on the belief that you have the resources and strengths to create positive change in your life. Therapy sessions are focused on identifying clear, achievable goals and developing strategies to reach those goals.

Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic therapy explores the influence of unconscious processes and past experiences on current behavior and emotions. It aims to uncover deep-seated emotional conflicts and patterns that may be contributing to psychological distress. Through this insight-oriented approach, you can gain a deeper understanding of yourself and work towards resolving internal conflicts.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy

A comprehensive therapy that combines cognitive-behavioral techniques with mindfulness practices. It is particularly effective for individuals who experience intense emotions and struggle with emotional regulation. DBT focuses on teaching skills in four key areas: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Multicultural Therapy

Multicultural therapy takes into account the cultural, social, and historical context of your life. It recognizes the impact of cultural identity, including race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, and religion, on mental health and well-being. This approach aims to provide culturally sensitive and inclusive therapy that respects and values the diverse backgrounds of clients.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing

EMDR is a therapeutic approach that has been found to be particularly effective for individuals who have experienced trauma. It involves the use of guided eye movements to help process and integrate traumatic memories, reducing emotional intensity and allowing for healing. EMDR is often used in conjunction with other therapeutic modalities to provide comprehensive trauma-informed care.
